Job Title: Document Governance & Compliance Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Overview: We are seeking a Document Governance & Compliance Specialist to develop and oversee a robust document management framework. This role is crucial for ensuring our operations align with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standards and Policy Implementation: Lead the writing and updating of policies, standards, and procedures; ensure compliance with ISO 27001/27002 and NIST 800-53 controls.
- Gap Assessment and Analysis: Conduct detailed gap assessments through interviews with control owners to identify areas for improvement in security and IT documentation.
- Document Creation and Management: Utilize recent technology tools, preferably Office 365, to create and manage effective governance documents.
- Audit and Compliance Oversight: Regularly review and adjust documentation processes to uphold stringent compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 and NIST 800-53 relative to controls.
- Experienced in writing and revising policies, standards, and procedures.
- Proficient in conducting gap assessments and engaging with control owners for comprehensive evaluations.
- Recent hands-on experience with technology tools, with a preference for candidates skilled in Office 365.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, governance, or a related field within the IT industry.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- Process modeling skills (e.g., Six Sigma certification).
Salary : $45 - $60
