Job Title: Senior Endpoint Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the deployment of next-generation technologies, ensuring seamless integration across company-wide systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to coordinate deployment efforts, ensuring thorough testing and effective implementation of solutions.
- Design and establish standards for workstations and endpoints, including building, testing, and documenting these standards.
- Act as a key IT Operations and Endpoint Engineering resource on project teams.
- Develop and maintain standards for Microsoft 365 and Windows, including creating essential deployment documentation.
- Manage OS, security, and application updates across the company, adhering to ISO-compliant lifecycle protocols.
- Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune for generating executive compliance reports.
- Create and refine PC lifecycle management processes, from hardware validation to advanced support and asset tracking.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune, driving advancements in packaging, Windows Servicing, and Security.
- Enhance software distribution processes to improve end-user experience significantly.
- Implement and maintain desktop security standards in alignment with company IT policies.
- Establish hardware standards for desktops and laptops and manage their lifecycle and refresh timelines.
- Analyze project requirements, develop delivery timelines, and manage project execution.
- Use data and operational metrics to inform decisions and report on progress within projects.
- Define and manage enterprise printing standards and printer fleet.
- Oversee the server infrastructure for Endpoint Engineering.
- Act as a Tier 3 escalation point, improving services and facilitating team discussions.
- Collaborate across IT support teams to ensure consistent organizational support.
- Take on additional duties and projects as needed.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and cloud integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud workload migrations.
- Proficient in creating and managing Windows environments using modern management tools.
- Solid background in endpoint security, including encryption and cloud policy management.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for remote endpoints in complex network environments.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; significant experience in IT or a related field required.
- Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.
