We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Asset Management Analyst with experience in ServiceNow to join our IT operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT asset lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, and supporting asset compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Your expertise in ServiceNow will be essential in configuring and enhancing our asset management processes to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and improve visibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, licenses), including acquisition, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance the IT Asset Management (ITAM) module within ServiceNow to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure asset data integrity in ServiceNow by implementing data validation, reconciliation processes, and regular audits.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate data capture, cost optimization, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide visibility into asset utilization, compliance, and cost trends.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities to improve asset tracking processes, automate tasks, and enhance accuracy through ServiceNow configuration.
- Support license compliance and software asset management (SAM) by monitoring usage, tracking renewals, and managing license allocation.
- Work closely with the IT Service Desk and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) team to align asset management processes and maintain data accuracy.
- Provide training and documentation to IT staff and end-users on asset management policies and ServiceNow functionality.
