The Senior Benefits Administrator will oversee daily benefits operations, ensure compliance, and manage key processes such as 401(k) administration, leaves of absence (LOA), workers' compensation, and vendor relations.
Job Responsibilities for the Benefits Administrator:
- Oversee daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, claims, and compliance testing.
- Administer and maintain 401(k) plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and plan designs.
- Manage the leave of absence (LOA) process, including FMLA, STD, and LTD.
- Handle workers' compensation claims, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Assisted in benefits plan design and worked closely with vendors to optimize benefit offerings.
- Provide employee education on benefit programs, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns.
- Ensure legal compliance with all federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
Job Requirements for the Benefits Administrator:
- 5 years of experience in benefits administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of 401(k) plans, benefits plan designs, FMLA, STD, and LTD.
- Experience with vendor management and employee benefits compliance.
- SHRM-CP certification is preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
