The Intersect Group is partnered with our direct client seeking a Senior Product Manager to join a dynamic team as a vital contributor to the product management group. You'll play an essential role in shaping, advancing, and executing the enterprise merchandising software platforms. This exciting opportunity lets you apply your expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the success and growth of our solutions.
Location: Irving (75063); work onsite 5 days a week (8 AM – 5 PM) is REQUIRED
Contract: 6 months and should get extended
Interview process: 1st round virtual followed by onsite interview
Needs:
- 6-7 years of experience as a product manager
- Must have worked closely with IT teams and can talk their way through IT from a PM perspective. Does not need to have been a developer
- Experience working as a product manager within the retail, grocery, or consumer goods space supporting some sort of promotional systems product
- Someone that knows how to arbitrate a promotion
- Can tie together a cost support agreement
Other needs:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Background in enterprise retail and B2B platform ecosystems.
- Experience in product management, ideally with a focus on enterprise software and retail merchandising technologies.
- Strong experience in designing user-centric product experiences.
- Proficient in Agile development methodologies with hands-on experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop innovative, effective solutions.
- Demonstrated success in managing and launching software products or features from concept to delivery.
- A passion for understanding technical solutions in-depth and translating them into impactful business outcomes.
Duties:
- Complex B2B Software Systems: Proven success working with enterprise-level software solutions involving advanced features and complex integrations.
- Product Vision & Strategy: Strong ability to define and execute a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs. Experienced in managing the full product lifecycle—from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
- Prioritization & Backlog Management: Skilled at prioritizing features and initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment. Adept at managing and grooming product backlogs to ensure optimal value delivery.
- Enterprise Software Integrations: Well-versed in integrating enterprise systems, including working with APIs and third-party services to deliver seamless experiences.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of software development processes and technologies. Able to communicate technical requirements effectively and collaborate closely with engineering teams. Experienced in creating product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Customer & User Insight: Hands-on experience working with users and customers to gather feedback and insights. Skilled in conducting user research to inform product decisions and ensure solutions meet expectations.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and align diverse stakeholders across internal and external teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating product plans, updates, and strategic initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective at driving execution in partnership with engineering, design, and other departments. Ensures timely delivery of high-quality features in alignment with the product roadmap.
- UX/UI Collaboration: Collaborative approach to working with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a go-to expert on enterprise merchandising software. Provide strategic guidance and support to sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Strong aptitude for simplifying complex technical concepts.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Proficient in tracking KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate product success. Use data to make informed recommendations and continuously optimize performance.
- Adaptability & Change Management: Thrive in dynamic environments with the ability to adapt quickly and lead through change. Known for strong follow-up, professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail when resolving issues.
Salary : $65 - $72
