What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workday Analyst position at The Intersect Group?
- Key Responsibilities:Serve as a liaison between HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and other teams on all matters related to Workday.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements regarding the Workday system.
- Support HR technology efforts, particularly Workday HCMS, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assist the Payroll Manager in supporting the Workday Payroll and Time Tracking systems.
- Develop, run, and analyze complex queries and reports to support HR and Payroll functions.
- Conduct audits and perform quality assurance to ensure data integrity and compliance with pay and tax regulations.
- Perform testing for system upgrades and changes to payroll practices.
- Ensure Workday configuration complies with company policies, contracts, and federal and state payroll regulations.
- Stay current on legal and regulatory changes, ensuring that the Workday system remains compliant.
- Serve as a backup to Payroll staff as needed.
- Key Requirements:Extensive experience working with Workday in a Retail or CPG industry environment.
- Proven expertise in Workday HCMS, Payroll, and Time Tracking systems.
- Strong ability to manage complex data and generate detailed reports and queries.
- In-depth understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and compliance.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and Payroll.
- Experience with software testing and system upgrades in Workday.
- Strong work ethic combined with an easy-going and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
