A day in the life…
Wondering what a day in the life of a Clinic Care Tech at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
- Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
- Work directly under the guidance of a seasoned Registered Nurse
- Assist with patient intake/discharge including room turnover in a timely manner
- Measures and documents height, weight, and vital sign readings as directed
- Assists with supply stocking and monitoring of the clinic.
- Maintains awareness of workload of co-workers and helps as appropriate
- Return patient calls as needed and ensure all patients feel valued and cared for
- Leave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!

Qualifications

Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
CNA or EMT certifications preferred.
