A day in the life…
Wondering what a day in the life of an Technical Supervisor I at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
- Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
- Functions as Technical Supervisor while coordinating daily operations of the clinic.
- Provides technical expertise and oversight to staff responsible for performing Mammography, DEXA, Ultrasound and X-ray imaging.
- Work as a team, providing assistance, and sharing responsibilities.
- Directs work to employees within the clinic.
- Collaborates with Practice Administrator and Director in interviewing, hiring and disciplining staff.
- Provide guidance to Leads, addressing patient concerns.
- Managing staff schedules, timecards, and PTO requests.
- Technical Supervisor is responsible for leading appropriate staff in ACR image selection and successful submission and will interface daily with radiologists.
- Responsible for leading appropriate staff in ACR and ICANL accreditation and re-accreditation.
- Leave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!

Qualifications
- Minimum of Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT registered/eligible. Current State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology
- 5 years applicable clinical experience in medical imaging and systems environment
- Ideal candidate will possess working and/or technical knowledge of mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound, in addition to x-ray.
- Supervisory experience required.
- A desire to find a meaningful, fulfilling career
