Job Summary
The People Operations Coordinator is a key member of our dynamic global People team, a diverse and dedicated group of nine professionals across the globe. We are a hardworking and committed team, passionate about creating positive employee experience and fostering a culture of collaboration, support, and real impact. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a smooth and engaging employee experience by supporting the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development, performance management, compensation & benefits, and offboarding. The coordinator will work closely with various teams to streamline processes, manage administrative tasks, and help implement people strategies that align with our culture and values.
Key Responsibilities
- General administration of all people-related processes & procedures in 14 countries within the EMEA Region
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees on any people-related queries
- Keeping all employee records up to date and accurate, updating and maintaining the existing People Management System (Personio), and playing a key role in the implementation of the new People Information System (HRIS) globally
- Support payroll administration in the Region, with focus on DACH Region (liaising with third-party payroll providers)
- Updating company policies
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Helping organize employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs
- Assisting with people reporting, data management, and system updates
- Supporting health & safety topics within the Region, being the H&S coordinator for German offices according to local legislation
- Supporting diverse people projects across the Region.
Requirements
Skills and competencies
- Completed business degree (Bachelor or Master) with a focus on human resources, legal, or a comparable qualification
- Around 2 years of relevant professional experience in people administration, ideally in an international company
- Must be people-focused with excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills, as well as the ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, a hands-on mentality, able to multitask, and demonstrate proper time management
- Understanding of various people software systems and excellent skills in MS Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German; any other European language is an asset.
