What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Retail Associate position at The IRONMAN Group?
Main Functions
Work at the official Ironman merchandise store for IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga assisting customers, athletes, family, and fans in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties (Include but Not Limited To)
- Assisting in the execution of store setup and breakdown
- Stocking the sales floor and general store maintenance
- Greeting customers and assisting them with their various needs and questions
- Maintaining visual presentation of the store by sizing, folding and completing other tasks
- Assisting customers in swim, bike, run sections
- Processing monetary transactions at the register
Available Shifts Being Hired For: **HOURS SUBJECT TO CHANGE**
- Tuesday, May 13th 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM - this is more of a labor intensive day (laying flooring)
- Thursday, May 15th 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday, May 16th 11:00 AM - 7:15 PM
- Saturday, May 17th 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM
- Sunday, May 18th 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Monday, May 19th 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM - again more of a labor intensive day (picking up flooring)
- All staff must complete Paylocity sign up and proof of identification prior to work shifts.
- This is an active work environment. Employees will be expected to bend and reach, lift heavy boxes, and withstand being on their feet all day.
- Temporary staff is hired on a temporary at will basis at a wage rate of $20 an hour. You will be mailed a check for your hours worked, on May 30th, 2025.
- Appropriate breaks and lunches will be given depending upon the length of the shift.
Employment Requirements
- Outgoing and friendly
- Hard working with the ability to take direction from management
- 1-2 years retail experience is preferred
