Position Summary :
Assists the Service Manager with the direction of technicians and vendors. Develops and maintains a high level of skill in all phases of general maintenance. Performs general maintenance including plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, hazardous material abatement, apartment turn-over, and appliance repairs in accordance with company standards, and in conjunction with management staff.
Job Duties :
- Promotes positive, proactive customer interactions to make their Irvine Company experience of the highest quality.
- Assists in the coaching and development of maintenance associates.
- Performs work using safe work practices. Ensures completion of safety training and actively investigates and mitigates risks.
- Ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained according to company standards; conducts property quality inspections, identifies and resolves any hazards.
- Responsible for inventory of parts and appliances; responsible for general maintenance and orderliness of facilities.
- Performs service requests, unit turns and preventative maintenance work throughout the community.
- Assists in the repair and renovation of apartments, providing direction to technicians, porters and vendors.
