Position Summary:
CONTRACT/TEMPORARY POSITION
Location: remote / hybrid / onsite
The Social Media Specialist will support recruitment marketing efforts to engage external talent in support of hiring talent for the company. You will report to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition and partner with the extended Talent Acquisition and Internal Communications teams. This role is key to the success of our hiring initiatives. We are looking for someone who really enjoys creating social media content, writing copy and launching campaigns!
Job Duties:
- Contribute to and help shape social media strategy for the Talent Acquisition team.
- Create a social media calendar and execute social media campaigns.
- Take ownership of ideation, creation, review, editing and approving of social media content, and assist others with their content development process as it relates to social media.
- Provide input and guidance regarding marketing direction.
- Create marketing templates for key positions in all functions.
- Update social and career pages (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Glassdoor, Careers).
- Identify and reach out to brand ambassadors to gather stories and content to showcase across our marketing platforms.
- Capture and edit short video clips for social media.
- Create posts and monitor all owned social media pages, interacting with content as appropriate, and providing recommended actions and/or responses as needed.
- Research and recommend additional marketing channels.
- Actively utilize social listening to discover potential opportunities for Irvine Company’s social media efforts.
- Provide detailed analytics and glean insights to influence future efforts.
- Maintain and update content library (photos, videos, flyers, etc).
- Write marketing job summaries articulating the value proposition and WIFM to candidates.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Experience working with primary social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Proven ability to execute social media campaigns in a professional or similar environment.
- Strong content creation, editing and copywriting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client skills.
- Photography, videography, graphic design experience required.
- Understand and interpret data to analyze what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly.
