Clean Room Operator

iON Technology Solutions (iTS) is a privately-owned engineering company headquartered in Mineola, New York. The Company provides proprietorially engineered solutions to its international client base within the Semiconductor industry with a focus on the Ion Implantation process. Our patented Plasmon, Magnon, and Lepton product lines include state of the art Ion Implantation Sources and Extraction Electrodes. Additionally, iTS offers a variety of specially designed components to Semiconductor manufacturers around the World. The Company is ISO 9001:2008 certified, maintains a Class 10,000 Clean Room facility and a complete metrology lab.

The Clean Room Operator will work within the Quality Control department in our Class 10,000 Clean Room facility and will report to iTS’s Quality Control Manager. The Candidate will ensure products are properly cleaned, bagged, and then stored into inventory. The Clean Room Operator will additionally be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Clean Room.

Responsibilities

· Clean products thoroughly using appropriate cleaners such as isopropyl alcohol and Micro-90

· Dry products in our vacuum oven. Ensure oven is properly maintained and cleaned

· Perform and run RGA (Residual Gas Analysis) report that is given from the Vacuum oven

· Bag products appropriately with our vacuum sealing apparatus

· Ensure cleaned and bagged parts are appropriately stored into inventory

· Record throughput of parts in iTS’s MRP system

· Communicate with Quality Control Manager when issues arise

Qualifications:

· High School diploma required; 1-3 years of related work experience preferred

· Aptitude to learn new tasks such as utilizing vacuum oven and reading RGA analysis, and reading particle counter

· Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in teams

· Ability to thrive in a detail-orientated environment

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
