Accounting Clerk, FT Monday-Friday
Our company is growing, and we are looking for new team members.
The Islander Group, Hawaii’s premier distributor and importer of gifts, stationery and general merchandise products is currently seeking a mature-minded, reliable individual with excellent attention to detail to join our team.
This individual must possess strong communication, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, have initiative as well as a positive attitude.
Requirements and duties include:
· Process payments to vendors
· Input invoices into computer system
· File paid invoices
· Reconcile vendor statement, research, and correct discrepancies
· Set up new venders
· Review A/P aging reports
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Two years or more of experience in a similar office position
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
The Islander Group is a full-service distribution company servicing a wide variety of retail customers across the state. With over 8,000 items and over 1,200 active customers including Wal-Mart, Target, ABC Stores and Military Exchanges, we have been delighting our customers for over 35 years.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
