Delivery Driver / Merchandiser – Monday to Friday – Maui

About Us: We are The Islander Group, Hawaii’s premier wholesale distribution company, specializing in national and local gift and beach products. We proudly serve major retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, ABC Stores, the Military, and more. Our products range from beach chairs, towels, and snorkel sets to sunscreens, coconut oil, and souvenirs. Since 1992, we have been creating and distributing products that reflect the spirit of Hawaii.
Your Role: As a Delivery Driver / Merchandiser, you will ensure that our products reach our retail partners on time and are in excellent condition. With the training we provide, you will handle a set delivery route and be an integral part of keeping the shelves stocked with the products our customers love.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload products from your delivery vehicle.
- Follow a set delivery route and adhere to a scheduled timeline.
- Communicate regularly with the dispatch office to stay on track.
- Deliver products and check them in with retailers.
- Unpack and stock products on shelves when required.
- Maintain accurate daily driver logs.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after your shift to ensure safety.
What We Are Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license (Clean driving record required).
- Familiarity with all areas of the island, previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required—training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized on the road.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8-hour day shifts.
- Comfortable with loading/unloading and physical tasks.
- Must pass all pre-employment tests (drug test & background check).
