Job Overview
We are seeking a Front Desk/Resevation Associate.
The Front Desk / Reservations Associate is responsible for managing reservations and assisting guests with check-ins/outs, while ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction. This role is important to building relationships between operations and guests, and owners ensuring each vacation experience is seamless and positive.
Escapia experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person! Overtime may be required during peak seasons. Positions may include scheduled hours in laundry as we work together as a team to keep things running smoothly.
Schedule/Shifts: Must be available to work all shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Must be able to work weekends. Hiring full time.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest reservations: Make and confirm reservations, including handling guest inquiries and rate quotes.
- Greet guests in a timely manner, Create arrival packets for guests. Answer all incoming calls, assisting guests or directing them to the appropriate department or manager.
- Handle both cash and credit card transactions, ensuring an accurate cash drawer and processing all receipts correctly.
- Be familiar with our property and on-property amenities, including policies, fees, and general information.
- Receive, sort, and deliver mail/packages to the appropriate department or guest.
- Communicate all guest concerns to manager on duty
- Maintain accurate guest registration
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as filing and stocking front desk supplies.
- Clean and maintain the front desk area and lobby, including taking out trash, sweeping, and ensuring the area is organized at the end of the shift.
- Position includes scheduled shifts in laundry
- Assist with event coordination and other projects as assigned by management.
- Punctuality and regular attendance are crucial to maintaining smooth operations. We expect all team members to be on time for their shifts and refrain from unnecessary call-outs.

Skills
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Proven experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred, but willing to train.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
