Job description
GENERAL PURPOSE
· Assist with events of varying sizes and purposes for the Lower-Level including Thursday Night Pasta Rustica
· Address and correct potential problems that may arise and communicate accordingly with the Banquet Floor manager
· Execute all duties related to providing excellent customer service to IACL Members and guests
· Assist staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Dispose of garbage and replace full bins
· Wash dishes and properly put dishes away
· Clean/Breakdown station and take out all trash after each shift
· Sweep and mop the kitchen
· Ensure proper storage of supplies
· Monitor adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards
Experience & Qualifications
· Related experience in high volume banquet facility or restaurant preferred
· Ability to handle stress and remain calm
· Ability to work well with a team or independently
· US Citizen with valid driver’s license and identification or State ID if driving is not required to perform tasks
Required skills
· · Ability to follow instructions
· General knowledge of proper safety and sanitation
Physical Requirements
· Will be standing, lifting, bending majority of shift
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
