Your Opportunity as the Lead, Customer Commercialization - Coffee
The Customer Commercialization (CC) Team serves as a critical conduit between Brand Marketing, Brand Commercialization, and the Field Sales Team. The Lead CC position manages the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process for customers to enable category and customer growth and represents customer strategies to key internal constituents. They also will translate National Go to Market Strategies (GTMS) into customer specific activation and incorporate strategic business targets into customer level quotas and budgets for assigned National and Regional grocery retailers.
In this role you will:
Manage Joint Customer Business planning process
Identify and communicate customer roles and strategies within the SBA
Coordinate with internal functions
Engage with customer team
Tailor business driver initiatives to meet customer needs
Plan and set agendas for meetings with key customers
Identify demand-creating solutions for customer-specific execution with the goal of achieving SBA plans
Validate assumptions against key metrics (ROI, strategy alignment, etc.)
Collaborate with necessary internal functions (Revenue Growth Management, Customer Finance, etc.)
Develop customer-level quotas, budgets, profit goals tied to JBP
Align on annual customer business plan for assigned customer teams
Work with Integrated Analytics & Post Event Analytics teams to review and validate inputs
Utilize existing & ad-hoc reporting to track progress against customer Targets
Manage and develop direct report(s) in alignment to resonant leadership expectations

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum least 5 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
Customer/sales facing experience is required
Previous experience with JBP process is required
Previous experience and demonstrated understanding of an accrual-based trade system
Strong story telling skills utilizing syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen) or customer specific data is required
Ability to work with cross-functional partners to drive business results
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Demonstrated understanding of customer strategies and retail environment
Excellent organization and written / verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple / diverse projects
Ability to travel up to 20%
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):
Prior experience in other commercial areas including Sales, Marketing, Category Leadership, etc.
Experience in Spotfire, Tableau, CAS or similar platforms
