Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Transportation
Participate in a critical role within the Transportation Department in support of the Sweet Baked Snacks business. The transportation analyst is responsible for facilitating the successful execution of transportation operations at the distribution center by leveraging systems and data to identify risk and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and third parties to mitigate. This position is responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance, facilitating meetings and building relationships with carriers, and identifying and implementing process improvements.

Posting is for 2 Open Positions:
Position 1- On-Site, Saturday - Wednesday, 8am-5pm
Position 2- On-Site, Wednesday - Sunday, 8am-5pm
In this role you will:
Assess potential exceptions to on-time shipment pick-up and delivery
Create action plan to resolve common and complex exceptions
Work with shippers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to execute action plans
Proactively communicate resolution to impacted parties
Provide carrier performance feedback to internal and external stakeholders
Meet or exceed Transportation budget goals
Make cost and service justified carrier changes in real-time
Mitigate cost through higher cost/lower performing carrier long-term replacement
Support Transportation RFP/Contract Carriers with cost vs. performance evaluation
Ensure carrier coverage of all shipments from assigned site(s)
Ensure appointment scheduling compliance
Utilize transportation management system to facilitate action
Effective Communication to all stakeholders as needed to ensure alignment to transportation plan
Identify performance issues, develop carrier action plans, and monitor results
Document site-specific transportation requirements
Align transportation operations activities to support site needs
Maintain the transportation management system
Engage with the IS team implement requested technology enhancements as needed

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
1 year of relevant Transportation or Warehousing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task,
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Written & Oral Communication - Willing to speak on phone and video conference
Proven ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
