Description
The J is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Pickleball Coaches to join our team. Ideal candidates will be passionate about pickleball, possess strong teaching abilities, and have experience helping players improve their skills. This role involves delivering high-quality private lessons, group lessons, focused coaching, and skill-building drills tailored to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.
Schedule: Flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, based on client demand.

Essential Functions
- Conduct one-on-one private lessons to provide personalized instruction and feedback.
- Lead group lessons for players of varying skill levels, fostering a fun and engaging environment.
- Design and implement focused coaching sessions to target specific areas of improvement, such as technique, strategy, or footwork.
- Develop and facilitate skill-building drills to enhance players’ agility, precision, and overall game performance.
- Assess player progress and adapt training plans to meet individual and group needs.
- Promote a positive, encouraging atmosphere that inspires confidence and growth in participants.
- Stay current with pickleball trends, techniques, and best practices to continually elevate coaching quality.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of pickleball rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Prior coaching or teaching experience in pickleball or a related sport (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with players of all ages and abilities.
- Ability to design creative and effective drills and lesson plans.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking and exposure to the weather outdoors
- Frequent walking/running, eye/hand/foot coordination, talking and hearing to demonstrate and execute skills
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. to move equipment as needed
