Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MSI Acquisition Advisor to join our team, providing critical subject matter expertise in Multi-Sourcing Integration (MSI) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) for the PEO MS/CIO(J-6). This role involves developing innovative acquisition strategies and contracting approaches to support Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Acquisition Expertise: Provide expert acquisition and strategic advice to ensure timely and successful implementation of Enterprise Information Technology System (EITS) initiatives in alignment with the goals set by the EITS Program Manager and/or EITS Integrator Program Manager.
- Acquisition Planning and Support: Contribute to the planning and strategic implementation of EITS call orders, Geographic Service Providers (GSP), and Capability Service Providers (CSP) engagements, as guided by government leads.
- Documenting and Managing EITS Initiatives: Assist in establishing guidelines, policies, and procedures for defining, developing, and managing EITS initiatives.
- Thought Leadership and Industry Expertise: Demonstrate leadership in acquisition reform through active participation in panels such as the Section 809 Panel, Section 813 Panel on Intellectual Property, and the Defense Innovation Board. Contribute through publications, speaking engagements, and media interactions.
Special Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition experience.
- A master's degree or an additional two years of relevant experience in lieu of a master's degree.
- Proven leadership in acquisition reform and innovation, with active participation in recognized DoD reform panels or boards (such as the Section 809 Panel or the Defense Innovation Board's Software Acquisition Practices).
- Experience in implementing MSI business models at state and/or federal government institutions.
