Radiology Tech/Lab Assist

Location: Martin, TN

Skills:

• Radiologic Technologist/Laboratory Assistant
• Demonstrated basic working knowledge of LIS
• Performs clerical tasks and places orders in Lab Information System
• Responsible for performing radiographic procedures and selecting technique factors and positioning
• Performs radiographic diagnostic procedures
• Operates radiographic equipment
• Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures
• Checks accuracy of information regarding patient
• Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials
• Maintains stock in x-ray room and is responsible for restocking work area

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of approved school and meets requirements for certification through Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
