Job Summary
Working under the direct supervision of the Associate General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and/or other member of the legal team, the Legal Associate is responsible for conducting legal research and performing legal tasks related to all matters arising within the JAX Legal Department. The Legal Associate will gain practical legal experience and insights working for a multi-national company.
This opportunity if available to work a hybrid work schedule with onsite availability each week.
What You’ll Contribute
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft legal memoranda.
- Develop employee-facing information materials.
- Decipher legal issues and present solutions in a succinct written format.
- Responsible for writing and reviewing various agreements and contracts under mentorship.
- Other legal, compliance, global mobility, and intellectual property matters as assigned.
What You’re Good At
- Must be an enrolled first-year student at an accredited law school.
- Must have effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to convey important information in clear, concise, and logical terms.
