Join our client as they work toward becoming one of the top five life insurers in the U.S. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented leader to join the operations management team. You should have extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams, knowledge of overseeing data analytics and dashboard development and managing large-scale operations. With a strong project management background, you will lead a team of project managers who possess the skills necessary to drive multimillion-dollar initiatives to successful completion. You’ll be data-driven, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights that improve operations.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and guide a team of project managers in executing critical multimillion-dollar initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
- Supervise a team of analysts in designing and maintaining operational dashboards to guide business and enable data-driven decisions.
- Partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help manage functions such as underwriting, claims, IT and member services.
- Support the COO in managing key stakeholders within the executive management team and the Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision.
- Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of high-impact operations projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage project managers, teams, timelines and budgets to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and implement comprehensive operations dashboards that provide real-time insights and actionable data.
- Ensure data analysts maintain accuracy and relevance of metrics displayed.
- Continuously refine dashboard features to meet evolving business needs and enhance decision-making.
- Facilitate day-to-day interactions with operations functions, including organizing and leading regular biweekly meetings.
- Detail and track action items, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
- Provide ongoing support to operations functions, assisting in preparing reports and follow-ups on key strategic topics.
- Oversee relationships with key operations vendors, ensuring service quality and alignment with organizational needs as well as long-term vendor engagement.
- Support the implementation of an SLA-based culture and reward system with vendors.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Help the COO partner with senior leadership to align operational strategies with the overall business vision.
- Assist the COO in managing relationships, particularly in preparing key materials for presentations.
- Contribute to strategic discussions by providing insights and recommendations based on operational data and trends.

Pay Range :
The anticipated pay range for this position is $150k-190k annually.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
