Job Description :
A property and casualty client is seeking aLiability Claims Specialist. This professional will exerciseindependent discretion and judgement in claims handling involving complex liability issues, including coverage issues and severe injury claims. The successful candidate will reside in West Virginia. This position is work-from-home.
Responsibilities :
- Conductinvestigations, evaluate and make recommendations regarding coverage and liability.
- Handleclaims involving complex liability, damages or coverages.
- Negotiatewith all partiesor their representatives, within designated authority.
- Document the file and submit reports.
- Identifysubrogation opportunities and initiateappropriate action.
- Completerequired training.
- Trainand mentor others.
- Provide support for property claims during periods of heavy volume.
