Job Description :
Under general supervision and following standard procedures with independent judgment, investigates, analyzes and manages litigated claims to settle claims in accordance with policy provisions.
Responsibilities :
- Obtain necessary information to properly investigate and evaluate each case by corresponding with agents, insured, attorney, witnesses and others.
- Set or recommend reserves based on claim investigations by examining legal pleadings, claims reports and similar claim precedents to determine extent of coverage and liability.
- Develop and manage effective case resolution strategies, including :
Developing a litigation plan and strategy
