Job Title: Underwriting Operations Support (Data Entry – Risk Engineering)
Location: 2001 Bryan Street, Dallas, TX 75201 (Hybrid – M-W in office, Th-F remote)
Job Type: 6 Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Permanent Conversion)
Pay Rate: $19.93 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Client:
Our client is a well-established leader in the insurance industry, providing comprehensive risk engineering and underwriting support services. They are seeking a reliable and detail-focused professional to join their team in a data-driven support role.
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a highly organized Underwriting Operations Support Specialist to provide administrative and data entry support to the Risk Engineering Services team. While this is not a direct underwriting role, it offers excellent exposure to insurance operations and is a great fit for those with experience in underwriting assistance or administrative roles within the insurance space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry into proprietary systems related to risk engineering reports and documentation
- Conduct internet research and gather supporting information for reports and records
- Prepare standard business documents including invoices, memos, reports, and correspondence
- File, organize, and retrieve documents and records across multiple systems
- Draft responses to routine internal inquiries and support general office functions
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, OneNote)
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
- Prior experience in insurance support, underwriting assistance, or data-heavy administrative roles preferred
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0–2 years of professional experience in administrative, underwriting support, or data entry roles
