What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Coach position at The Jam UAC?
As a Camp, Event, and Party Coach, you will be the heart of the fun! You'll lead activities, ensure the safety of participants, and create a positive and engaging environment for children enjoying gymnastics, ninjastics, parkour, and other exciting activities. Your responsibilities will span across various events, from high-energy birthday parties to action-packed camp days.
Responsibilities:
- Party Star: Lead and facilitate birthday parties, ensuring a smooth and exciting experience for the birthday child and their guests. This includes setting up decorations, leading games and activities, and maintaining a fun and organized atmosphere.
- Camp Counselor Extraordinaire: Supervise and engage campers during holiday camps (Spring Break, Summer Camp, etc.), leading drills, organizing games, and fostering a positive and inclusive camp environment.
- Parents' Night Out Pro: Create a safe and entertaining experience for children during parents' night out events, allowing parents to enjoy a worry-free evening.
- Safety First: Ensure the safety of all participants during all activities, adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Activity Leader: Lead engaging drills and activities related to gymnastics, Ninjastics, parkour, and other sports and recreational activities.
- Team Player: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of events and camps.
- Clean and Organized: Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including setting up equipment and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Communication is Key: Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and fellow staff members.
Qualifications:
- Experience in gymnastics, ninjastics, or parkour is a plus, but not required! We will train you!
- A genuine interest in athletic activities and working with children.
- Ability to lead and motivate children of various ages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
