Full-time Forklift Operators are an essential part of our team. As a 1st shift team-member you will be responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse to support Operation goals. You are a Jay Group team member from day 1. This is a direct hire permanent position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Job Duties:
- Unloads materials out of vehicles/trailers using equipment.
- Operates equipment including, but not limited to: Tow motors, Reach trucks, Cherry/Order Pickers to move material from pallets, trays, racks or shelves.
- Loads vehicles/trailers by installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Material Handler will update WMS accurately on equipment and will use RF scanning equipment.
- Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment, including attending training, following prescribed safety regulations and maintaining appropriate safety inspection logs.
