Description
Full-time Forklift Operators are an essential part of our team. As a 2nd shift team-member you will be responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse to support Operation goals. You are a Jay Group team member from day 1. This is a direct hire permanent position.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (Sunday 10ampm -8:30pm, Monday - Thursday 3pm -11:30pm)
Job Duties:
- Unloads materials out of vehicles/trailers using equipment.
- Operates equipment including, but not limited to: Tow motors, Reach trucks, Cherry/Order Pickers, and Turret trucks to move material from pallets, trays, racks or shelves.
- Loads vehicles/trailers by installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Forklift Operator will update WMS accurately on equipment and will use RF scanning equipment.
- Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment, including attending training, following prescribed safety regulations and maintaining appropriate safety inspection logs.
- Will perform Picker Packer duties when operation of equipment is not needed.
- Overtime will be required during peaking season November-December in this position.

- Must be able to pass a drug screen at time of offer.
- At least 6 months experience operating high reach equipment required
- Experience operating Turret Trucks preferred.
- Applicants will be required to pass an assessment on high reach equipment prior to job offer.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to work legally in the United States.
