What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Bell Staff position at The Jefferson Hotel?
MUST be able to work 11pm-7am, but initial training will be during the daytime.
MUST be able to work any night of the week, including weekends holidays.
MUST have a valid Virginia Driver's License and 0 points on driving record.
Under the direction of the Night Manager and the Guest Services Manager, the position is responsible for transporting guest luggage to and from rooms, & explaining the hotel’s facilities, services, and operations. Offers hotel services when appropriate, completes guest/visitor deliveries and messages as required, and aids guests with directions. Stores and retrieves luggage and articles of clothing or personal items, handles group arrivals, picks up laundry, welcomes guests as Doorman and provides Valet Parking Services as needed. Is able to work with guests in a friendly, stellar, and professional manner. Will effectively handle guest issues with a positive result.
