Purpose:
The Mishkon Division provides supports and services in a healthy and safe environment for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities living in residential programs and in community settings. Our core values are to provide a healthy and safe environment that promotes person centered planning, community integration, and close collaboration with families and the community. This is all accomplished through an Orthodox Jewish lens, and with an understanding that staff, at all levels of the division, is the determining factor in achieving positive outcomes for our clients.
Position Overview:
The Coordinator of Operations will report to the Deputy Director of Operations. The Coordinator of Operations overall, primary responsibility is to carry out logistic strategies at Mishkon I/DD. This role ensures that the business practices and processes at Mishkon I/DD run efficiently, deadlines are met, and the programs have support that they need to meet organizational and regulatory goals, provision of services and programs operations. The Coordinator of Operations hires, supervises and professionally grows Administrative staff, liaises with the Mishkon I/DD management team, and service providers on an ongoing basis for continuity of operational support.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead assigned projects and ensure timely completion of projects.
Attends meetings and tracks and/or carries out follow activities outlined in the meetings.
Supervise assigned administrative staff, providing weekly supervision, training, professional development opportunities, real-time feedback, and performance evaluation.
Work closely with a range of Jewish Services programs and represent the needs of programs.
Analyze data, create reports and participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
Travel to program sites as needed.
Other duties as assigned by Mishkon management.

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 1 year of full-time work experience working in a social service setting a plus.
Prior experience demonstrating organizational capacity and ability to work independently.
Prior supervisory experience, a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED (List the computer skills needed):
Must be able to navigate Microsoft Office programs in addition to an Electronic Health Record and other computer programs as required.
VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY:
The candidate must be able to review treatment plans and document daily logs. The candidate must be able to have the dexterity to pick up small items to work with clients on a variety of activities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL EFFORT:
The position is based in a typical office setting, with a focus on indoor tasks.
Primarily sitting at a desk, using computers and other office equipment.
Ability to lift up to 10-15 pounds.
Occasional travel to other sites throughout NYC.
