The Babysitter is essential in the care and safety of those infants and children in his or her care while using babysitting services at the Jewish Community Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Care and safety of the infants and children using babysitting services.
- Exude energy, creativity and friendliness.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of toys and surfaces.
- Taking messages
- Ensuring ratios are met.
- Organizing toys, books, and miscellaneous items in designated areas.
- Ability to interact with infants and children with age-appropriate toys.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required:

Education/Experience:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Previous experience working with children (babysitting, childcare, or related field).
- Dependable, patient, and creative in engaging children.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
This position will be available beginning May 1st.
Days/Hours: Monday thru Friday from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
