As a Financial Resources Development Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in fueling our fundraising efforts and strengthening our community campaigns. This is more than just a support role—it’s an opportunity to take ownership of donor prospecting research, shape fundraising initiatives, and help cultivate relationships that drive lasting impact.

What You’ll Do:
🔹 Drive Fundraising Success: Support key FRD fundraising initiatives and events and provide top-notch donor service, ensuring seamless execution of community campaign efforts.
🔹 Lead Donor & Prospect Research: Use your research skills to identify new potential donors and create strategic donor portfolios that empower our fundraising and relationship-building activities.
🔹 Engage & Steward Donors: Build and maintain relationships through thank-you outreach, welcome packages, and donor stewardship efforts—ensuring every donor feels valued and connected. You will also own a portfolio of Community Donors to solicit and steward personally throughout the year.
🔹 Support Direct Marketing Initiatives: Manage the logistics of direct marketing campaigns, vendor communication, mailings, and budget tracking to maximize fundraising success.
🔹 Be a Data & Operations Powerhouse: Serve as a go-to expert on donor databases, keeping records accurate, tracking engagement, and using data to drive strategic fundraising efforts. Perform some administrative tasks such as managing calendars and submitting expenses.

- Knowledge of the Jewish community, its customs and practices is preferred
- Bachelor's degree required.

Background, Qualifications and Success Factors
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members at all levels
- Strong research and writing skills, donor and prospect research experience preferred
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work independently, perform well under pressure, balance multiple tasks/requests and exhibit sound judgment
- Effective communication skills and comfortable in managing and following up with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically excel, and comfortable with and open to new technology
