Social Media Coordinator (PT)
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM), this part-time (20 hours per week) position is responsible for the successful day-to-day management and monitoring of social media channels for The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee.
Responsibilities Include:
- Day-to-day management of social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- In coordination with DMM, implement online, social media, and mobile marketing strategy and content that aligns with overall brand, marketing, and communications strategy and drives significant growth, awareness, and engagement
- Set key performance indicators and monitor effective benchmarks for the measurement of digital marketing efforts. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results and make recommendations for future campaigns
- Monitor and manage the Federation’s reputation across the web, including social media sites, and coordinate appropriate responses with internal resources
- Respond appropriately and in a timely manner to all comments and private messages
- Ensure timely and effective execution of social media campaigns and programs
- Build digital campaigns that are clear, compelling, and on brand
- Participate in all marketing, content, and staff meetings
- In coordination with the Marketing team, partner in developing blog content for the Federation’s various websites
- Other duties as assigned
Key Competencies
· 2 years’ experience working in social media/digital marketing
· Working knowledge of current trends in digital media planning
- Working knowledge of Hootsuite, MailChimp, JotForm, and Adobe Suite preferred
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient technical skills
- Ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies for maximum impact
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong creative and problem-solving skills
- Mail Chimp experience preferred
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar field preferred
