The Job Center is Hiring for associates on 3 rd shift for Mail Sorters in the City of Grand Prairie, TX area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement.
Compensation / Shift / Benefits of Mail Sorter
1 7 .50 an hour
Tuesday-Saturday 12 : 30am-8 : 30am (with some Weekends
Benefits include : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO
Eligibility for the Work and Win Program - Rent / Mortgage paid for a year
Responsibilities of Mail Sorter
Prepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage and barcodes
Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mail
Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine
Perform all additional duties as required.
Requirements of Mail Sorter
Compliant Background
Basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language
The ability to work overtime which includes weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance notice
The ability to be dependable and reliable.
Physical demands and ability- lift up to 55lbs with or without accommodations and walk, stand stoop and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
