W2 Delivery Drivers on the DoorDash Platform

This is for a W2 Role as a Delivery Driver for DoorDash. This is not an independent contractor 1099 role.

Our team completes small, lightweight deliveries on the DoorDash platform-typically meal orders from a restaurant to a customer. No heavy lifting or big trucks required!

On Demand Couriers offers first-class delivery services for restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and various other businesses in the Portland, OR Metro area through the DoorDash Platform. Our team provides high-quality service and ensuring timely deliveries to meet the needs of our customers.

Delivery Driver

Our team at On Demand Couriers is seeking self-motivated Delivery Drivers who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the rapidly growing on-demand delivery industry. Associates will safely complete deliveries of food and convenience items, ensuring that customers receive their DoorDash orders promptly and efficiently.

Benefits

• Great Pay. Total Comp potential of $26.12 - $27.64 per hour (inclusive of hourly wage tips).
• W2 Employee of On Demand Couriers, NOT a 1099 self-employed independent contractor.
• Flexible schedules. Sunday – Saturday 8am to 7pm Daily. Shift options – 8:00am-1pm, 2:00pm-7pm, 8am-7pm.

Qualifications/Skills

• You have access to your own insured personal vehicle that you can use for delivery.
• No prior delivery driving experience is needed.
• You are self-starting, optimistic, and work well with others. You are enthusiastic about providing customer service and bring integrity and a positive attitude to your work.
• You are reliable and have a history of high attendance rates.
• You can operate the DoorDash apps (including GPS navigation) and troubleshoot technology when needed.
• You have a valid driver’s license. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Not Needed.
• You are at least 20 years of age and have at least two (2) years of driving history.
• You can pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check.
• In compliance with federal law, if hired, you will have to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
