SUMMARY
The Payroll/HR Coordinator will oversee and supervise the school’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Semi-Monthly/Monthly payroll processing and reporting through ADP
- Managing Time and Attendance for employees, including timecards, Substitutes, and absences
- Payroll processing of Annual Fund Donations, Garnishments, Club Payments, Pay Adjustments, Stipends & Employee Tuition Payments, work with the different departments to verify amounts
- Maintains payroll files and resolves any payroll related issues with employees
- Work with HR Director to ensure employee files are complete
- Work with HR Director to ensure all payroll changes are accurate and complete
- Make recommendations regarding cost control and efficient administration practices
- Payroll reconciliation with Accounting Department
- Performs other personnel/payroll/business office duties as needed
- Assists with Accounting, HR and Payroll audits
- Wage and Tax Register Preview
- End of year HR and payroll preparation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficient and experienced using ADP or related payroll software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
- Payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills including on the phone and through email

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
