Senior PACT Counselor
Are you a high school upperclassman or recent graduate ready to step up your leadership game and make a lasting impact on younger generations? Join us as a Senior PACT Counselor and lead a dynamic summer experience for youth entering 1st-5th Grade OR 6th-9th Grade. You’ll take on increased responsibilities in guiding campers and supporting Junior Counselors, while working closely with the Lead Counselor to deliver an unforgettable, engaging, and enriching camp program filled with academic activities, team-building, and exciting field trips.
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior PACT Counselor, you'll:
- Serve as a role model, mentor, and leader for both campers and Junior Counselors.
- Collaborate with the Lead Counselor to plan and deliver daily activities that are engaging, fun, and educational.
- Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all participants by implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive camp atmosphere.
- Support Junior Counselors in executing activities and ensuring camper engagement.
- Communicate with camp staff, parents, and community partners when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior management systems, and daily activities.
- Lead by example, inspiring campers to actively participate and develop essential life skills.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have completed the 11th grade, be currently enrolled in high school, or be a recent graduate (Class of 2023 or later).
- Completion of onboarding requirements, including:
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
- Drug screening
- Background check
- CPR & First Aid certification
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Availability from May 27th to July 18th, with commitment to the full duration of the program.
- Candidates will be invited to screening interviews during the first week of March.
