Role Overview
The Marketing & Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving patient acquisition, increasing local brand awareness, and building strong community relationships. You will design and execute local marketing initiatives, identify and nurture business partnerships, and track ROI on all outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about growing a purpose-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute hyper-local marketing strategies for all three clinic locations
- Oversee digital presence including local SEO, Google Business Profiles, and online reviews
- Create and manage local social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Coordinate and execute grassroots marketing (flyers, posters, sponsorships, community boards)
Community & Business Development
- Build and maintain partnerships with local gyms, fitness centers, wellness providers, and businesses
- Represent the clinics at local events, fairs, and networking opportunities
- Identify and pursue B2B opportunities for membership discounts and employee wellness packages
- Coordinate local sponsorships and charitable partnerships
Analytics & Performance
- Track and report on KPIs including patient leads, acquisition cost, referral traffic, etc.
- Work closely with clinic managers to align marketing with patient experience and retention goals
- Monitor competitor activity and identify market trends and opportunities
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with franchise owner and clinic teams to align marketing goals with business needs
- Serve as the liaison between the clinics and The Joint Corporate Marketing team, ensuring compliance with brand standards and leveraging available resources
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related field (multi-location or franchise experience preferred)
- Proven ability to develop and execute local marketing campaigns
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms
- Passion for health, wellness, and community engagement
Bonus Points
- Experience with The Joint Chiropractic or other wellness/retail franchise brands
- Background in healthcare or fitness marketing
- Local market knowledge south of Boston (Easton, Dedham, Walpole, Brockton, West Roxbury)

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
