Pay $80,000-$95,000 DOE plus incentive compensation

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing and Pricing Analyst to join our team, with a strong focus on pricing analysis, pricing tests, pricing data management, and marketing promotional analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how pricing and promotions impact business performance, and they will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses and delivering data-driven recommendations that drive profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pricing analysis efforts, including pricing strategy assessments, pricing elasticity studies, and competitive pricing reviews.
- Design and conduct pricing tests to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales, revenue, and customer behavior.
- Manage pricing data entry and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates in relevant systems.
- Analyze marketing promotions to assess their effectiveness, profitability, and customer impact.
- Develop business models and forecasts for pricing and promotional initiatives, using historical data and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and marketing to align pricing strategies with broader business goals.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and or analytical tools such as R for complex data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support franchising initiatives by providing pricing and promotional analysis tailored to franchise business models.
- Work with SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to support pricing and promotional decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in marketing analysis, with a specific focus on pricing and promotions.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Proven experience in creating business models and forecasting related to pricing and promotions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Experience in franchising is a strong plus.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis is preferred.
- Experience with R or other advanced analytical tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
