Support the strategy to bring on new acute healthcare Accreditation & Certification Organizations (A&Co’s) for a regional territory, that are interested in our “deemed” services and other Joint Commission offerings. Also responsible for selling the other portfolio items, including Joint Commission Resources consulting services, eProducts, Digital Learning, Publications, CSR Programs and High Reliability Services. Orchestrate new opportunities through organic growth opportunities, while fostering strong client relationships that enhance the combined mission that we share regarding patient safety and quality. Will be responsible for the Joint Commission Enterprise’s small acute care independent hospitals to mid-size hospital IDN’s.
Serve as a conduit between the acute healthcare A&Co’s, The Joint Commission and The Joint Commission Resources. Build a deep understanding of current and prospective organizations business goals, challenges, and market dynamics, and tailor solutions that meet each organization's unique needs. Assist with the strategic account planning, relationship building, cross-functional collaboration, problem solving, organic growth with an enterprise product portfolio and data analysis and reporting. The annual book of business is greater than $5M. Will be expected to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Primary contact under the “1 hand to shake model” serve as the voice of the new / existing Acute healthcare A&COs within TJC, collaborating with and coordinating efforts across departments such as OQPS, ACO, & Innovations to deliver seamless delivery of solutions while also providing overview reports to Executive Leadership. Primarily responsible for new business development, but also responsible for ensuring the execution of healthcare organization retention.
- Support the comprehensive strategy to build acute healthcare organization engagement and loyalty, improving retention rates year over year.
- Talk to the value of all Joint Commission Enterprise Offerings, being the lead for all business development and revenue-generating activities. Partner with Product Level SME’s to collectively achieve territory targets and objectives.
- Drive results and implement the strategic account plans for the group that are aligned with both the new and existing A&CO objectives and the mission-driven solutions offered by TJC. Implement strategies to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and build long-term partnerships.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with each organization and engage regularly to understand the organizations’ internal structure, key decision-makers, and areas of opportunity to improve patient safety and quality of care.
- Facilitate, present, moderate, and at times, be the primary speaker who represents all portfolio presentations and speaking engagements.
- Identify and respond to issues and concerns brought by organizations promptly. Craft and deploy swift and effective solutions that strengthen our partners' confidence in TJC's commitment to their success and shared mission.
- Leverage knowledge and insights to existing acute healthcare A&COs to identify opportunities for deploying new solutions. Propose relevant additions to the organizations' current offerings that enhance the joint mission shared related to patient safety and quality of care.
- Leverage TJC’s data to gain insights, track progress, measure success, enable evidence-based decision making, and identify areas for improvement in our offerings.
- Provide customer feedback on products, services, or new opportunities to the Innovation team responsible for Standards revisions, additions, exclusions, clinical advances, and customer needs.
