Job Description:
The Medical Technologist Surveyor conducts thorough evaluations of laboratory programs across the United States. This role requires applying systems analysis skills and inductive reasoning to determine a laboratory's degree of compliance with applicable standards-based issues in healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a health-related field, hold a CPHQ certification, and possess strong customer service skills. They should also have experience working in large point-of-care settings and leading or participating in regulatory and safety committees.
A minimum of five years of recent experience is required, including three years of direct clinical experience and two years of accreditation or certification leadership or senior management experience.
Candidates should be familiar with Joint Commission standards and have direct involvement with a minimum of two Joint Commission surveys. They must also be able to observe ongoing healthcare treatment, engage in extensive travel, and work in various weather conditions.
All positions require 100% nationwide travel. Part-time positions are available for candidates who can commit to two weeks of work per month.
