Job Overview
We are seeking a Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while providing outstanding customer service.
This is a part-time role weekends are necessary. Only expect 2-3 shifts a week! Please apply if you are willing to work Saturday and Sunday occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and manage cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
