We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager specializing in Large Commercial accounts. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with producers, manage renewal presentations, and maintain client relationships with local travel as required. Strong technical proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and attend client meetings with producers
- Prepare pre-renewal packets and conduct client presentations
- Manage and process account tasks including expiration lists, incoming requests, verifications of insurance, audits, vehicle changes, billing transactions, cancellation requests, and loss control follow-ups
- Balance communication via phone and email while ensuring timely follow-up on client queries and carrier responses
- Manage ancillary lines as needed
- Travel locally for client meetings as required
- Possession of a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) License – required
- Prior experience managing a book of business – required
- A CIC designation is preferred but not mandatory
- 3 years of relevant insurance industry experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel – required
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology platforms (e.g., ImageRight, AMS360)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Willingness/ability to travel as needed for client meetings and business engagements
