Job Description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing a book of commercial insurance business, providing exceptional service to clients, and supporting the overall success of the commercial lines department.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
• Review policies and coverage to ensure clients have appropriate protection
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
• Collaborate with producers to develop new business opportunities
• Handle day-to-day inquiries and claims from clients
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
• Assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal business
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance account management
• Proficiency with Applied EPIC and other relevant software
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Relevant insurance designations (e.g. CISR, CIC) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
  
  

Day-to-Day

• Responding to client inquiries via phone and email
• Meeting with clients to review policies and discuss coverage options
• Processing endorsements and policy changes accurately and efficiently
• Collaborating with producers and underwriters to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions
• Researching and staying updated on industry trends and changes in regulations
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and underwriting partners
