Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including processing policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate coverage terms, and ensure accurate policy documentation
- Analyze insurance applications and underwriting data to assess risk and make appropriate recommendations to clients
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide proactive advice to clients
- Resolve client inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner, exceeding client expectations
- Utilize insurance agency management system to maintain accurate client records and documentation
- 3 years of commercial insurance account management experience preferred
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and exceeding client expectations
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- An active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license is required
- Compensation: Between $45k-$60k (based on experience).
