Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients.
- Network with business owners, decision-makers, and referral sources to generate leads.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Understand client needs and objectives to recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Risk Assessment and Needs Analysis:

- Negotiate terms and pricing to close new business deals.
- Account Management:
- Oversee the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring timely follow-up and smooth transitions.
- Continuously monitor accounts to ensure proper coverage, making adjustments as needed to address evolving client needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to provide clients with up-to-date information.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with account managers, underwriters, and other internal teams to ensure the successful execution of client policies.
- Collaborate with service teams to resolve claims and address customer service issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Active property and casualty insurance license (required).
- Proven experience in commercial lines insurance sales, account management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage options.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in insurance management software and CRM tools.
