E&S Renewal Underwriter

Job Summary

One of the industry’s fastest-growing national wholesale brokers is currently seeking an E&S Renewal Underwriter to join their team. This role focuses on handling E&S renewals within the small market segment across various lines of coverage such as General Liability, Property, and Package policies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate renewal submissions and ensure compliance with contract binding guidelines.
• Prepare renewals for review by brokers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitate the renewal process by processing bind orders efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with brokers to address any inquiries or issues related to renewals.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Prior contract binding underwriting experience is required.
• Previous experience with any of the following carriers: Nautilus, AmTrust, Markel, MUSIC, Nationwide (Scottsdale), Atlantic Casualty, Ategrity, Northfield, Western World, Crum & Forster, Century, Maxum, Penn-America, RLI Binding
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; 5 or more years preferred.
• Self-sufficient with a strong drive to achieve goals.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
• An active P&C License is preferred but not required.
