Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Relationship Management:
- Identify and engage with insurance brokers and general agents to recruit them to sell products and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective brokers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular check-ins and ongoing communication with brokers to understand their needs and ensure product satisfaction.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Drive sales growth by increasing the number of brokers and general agents representing the company’s products.
- Provide brokers with necessary product knowledge, training, and support to ensure effective sales and product delivery.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the broker network and increase market penetration.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and feedback on market demands, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- Product Expertise and Support:
- Act as an expert resource for brokers and general agents, offering guidance on product offerings, pricing, and sales strategies.
- Assist brokers in identifying potential clients and opportunities for selling products within their networks.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure brokers have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and collaborative activities to align with company goals.
- Life and Health insurance license.
- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven history of successfully recruiting and managing broker relationships.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with brokers and attend industry events (If applicable. Travel costs are covered via expense card provided by the company.)
